WHAT IS ISO 18001

ISO 18001, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series, (officially BS OHSAS 18001) is an internationally applied British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It exists to help Tyris Construction put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance. It is a widely recognized and popular occupational health and safety management system.

“What is ISO 14001”:

This standard helps organisations by providing a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions, all over the world.

The standard was developed by a committee of occupational health and safety experts, and follows other generic management system approaches such as ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. It will take into account other International Standards in this area such as OHSAS 18001.

WHAT IS ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is part of a family of standards for quality management systems maintained by ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) and administered by accreditation and certification bodies.

Tyris Construction believes in managing Quality Assurance through the formal systematic approach to the planning, controlling and achievement of specified work standards relevant to each project. Through the quality assurance process, Tyris Construction ensures that all relevant quality specifications and requirements are achieved, beyond expectation.
