San Sereno retirement village has been in operation for more than 20 years. As part of Phase 1, Tyris was entrusted with the alteration and additions contract for the upgrade of the communal facilities – areas that included a new Library, swimming pool, restaurant, toilets, passages and walkways. The phase was completed in 2019. Phase 2 included the upgrading and renovation of 16 x frail care units, private lounge areas and kitchen with a fully functional ward to attend to those patients in need of special medical care. The Site have achieved a full legal compliance award form Cairnmead for the outstanding work.
